Coal Plant Ponds Bathymetry

The Mapping Network team surveyed two ash ponds for a coal power plant. The purpose was to quantity and locate ash accumulation in the pond because it needed to be removed per EPA regulations. By comparing the original bottoms of the ponds with the current bottom depths, a computer model calculated the location and amount of material.
